About Me-

Hello and welcome! My name is Emma and I am a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and mom of two serving Ventura County and located in the Ojai Valley, CA. I have breastfed both of my kids and navigated my own personal challenges breastfeeding with each child. In fact, my personal journey through postpartum and breastfeeding was the catalyst for me to purse higher education in lactation in order to serve the greater community to help other new parents feel supported, encouraged, and confident as they navigate their own perinatal experiences and in feeding their babies.

I weave practical advice, common sense, and a detail oriented approach with evidence- based research to curate feeding plans tailored to your personal breastfeeding goals.

I am here to walk by your side and support you as you plan for postpartum and navigate your infant feeding journey and to help you find what works best for you and your baby.

I completed my lactation education through a rigorous training through UC San Diego through the Lactation Pathway 2 educational certificate program. I spent hundreds of hours of clinical training under the guidance of longtime IBCLC’s/lactation consultants at Kaiser Santa Rosa in their pediatric clinic providing hands on care to families with newborns and infants.

I have personal experience navigating breastfeeding and infant food allergies as well as navigating caring for a medically complex child. I approach caring for my clients in a respectful, nonjudgmental, holistic, and comprehensive manner. I welcome all families and parenting adults to my practice!
