About Me
Hello and welcome! I am a Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and mom of two serving Ventura County and located in Ojai, CA. I have a background as a flower farmer, professional baker, prenatal/perinatal medical assistant, registered nurse working in a level 1 trauma center and as a birth doula.
I am currently offering inclusive Lactation Consultant Services to support your family in your infant feeding and postpartum journey. I deeply believe that a well-supported experience for the postpartum person consisting of a period of rest, nourishment, warmth and community/family gathering support sets a family up for success as they welcome a new baby into their life.
I completed my lactation education through a rigorous training through UC San Diego through the Lactation Pathway 2 educational certificate program. I spent hundreds of hours of clinical training under the guidance of longtime IBCLC’s/lactation consultants at Kaiser Santa Rosa in their pediatric clinic providing hands on care to families with newborns and infants.
I have personal experience navigating infant food allergies while breastfeeding as well as navigating caring for a medically complex child. I approach caring for my clients in a respectful, nonjudgmental, holistic, and comprehensive manner. I am here to walk by your side and support you as you plan for and navigate your infant feeding journey and to help you find what works best for you and your baby. I speak Spanish and welcome all families and parenting adults to my practice!
